[tw] TiddlyWiki 5 and importing e.g. CheckboxPlugin

Good morning

I probably miss something... since some hours, I try to import the
CheckboxPlugin into my TiddlyWiki:

1. Download the empty.html file
2. Open it in Firefox
3. Open this site in a new Tab: http://tiddlytools.com/#CheckboxPlugin
4. Drag the Sourde-URL (http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#CheckboxPlugin
<http://www.tiddlytools.com/#CheckboxPlugin>) and
5. Drop it on top of my empty.html (where I get the german Text "Hierher
ziehen")
6. I get:

$:/Import
Diese Tiddler können importiert werden:
Auswahl Titel Status
[x] > untitled

Buttons: Abbrechen (Abort) Importieren (Import)

7. I wonder about the "untitled" title, but the TiddlyWiki Manual says
"use Drag & Drop"
- so I click "Importieren (Import).
8. I get:

$:/Import

The following tiddlers were imported:
1. Untitled 2

9. I create a new Tiddler and add:
[x]=ThisIsMyID1(My Title1:ThisIsMyTag1)
[ ]=ThisIsMyID2(My Title2:ThisIsMyTag2)
10. Save
11. View the new Tiddler

» It does nur use the imported CheckboxPlugin :-(
(because it does not convert the "[ ]" to checkboxes)

Where is my fault?

The plugins and all other addons at my TiddlyTools.com site are for
TiddlyWiki Classic, and are NOT compatible with TiddlyWiki5. However, many
of the features provided by these plugins are now supported natively by
TiddlyWiki5 "widgets", so you don't need to install anything.

One of the examples in that tiddler shows how to create a checkbox that
toggles a tag.

Hi Eric,

thank you *very* much for your fast answer!
I just wanted to Ask the Autor of TiddlyTools.com to add a good visible
note that those tools are incompatible with TiddlyWiki5

Now I assume, you are the one :-)

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who tries to use your tools in the new
TiddlyWiki5, therefore it would be great to have such a note in the About
text.
